Does your home always seem to be a mess no matter how many times you’ve tried to clean and organise it? I know that feeling all too well, but over the past two years I’ve found my own system to help me organise the house in a way that is neat, tidy, and makes it easy to find things. Good news is that everything I’ve used are things that you can easily find online to make your life easier.

As someone who absolutely needs structure in my life, I spent the extra time measuring shelves, cupboards and counter space before I went ahead and purchased many of the following things on Amazon. You have no idea how satisfying it is to have everything fit perfectly in its little spot all around the house. My life is so much easier and I no longer stress about having to reorganise everything every few weeks. So here I am, sharing my favourite products and some helpful advice so that you too can revel in the joy of an organised home.

1. Drawers and Storage Bins

These were the first things I planned out and bought when organising my home. They are perfect for dividing things in your cupboards, pantries and fridges. Only thing I would suggest is to make sure to measure out the space you have, and double check the dimensions of the drawers you’re purchasing so that you too can also have a perfectly tidy environment. I’ve linked below some of my favourite Amazon products!

2. Food Storage Containers

I absolutely love these! Using these makes grocery shopping so much easier because you’re able to see exactly what you have in your pantry and fridge. And that’s without having to dig around in the back to see if you’ve still got that half open pack of whatever. My pantry is neat. There’s no random packaging all over the place. Plus, I know exactly when I need to stock up on some of our kitchen staples. You can be the same!

3. Pull-out  Drawers

Pull-out drawers are amazing, especially for your under sink area! They are super easy to install and completely eliminate the need for digging around in the back of cupboards.

4. Drawer Dividers

I am an avid baker, meaning that I have to find a place to store quite a range of utensils. I used to have a drawer where we would just chuck a bunch of utensils in, and whenever we needed something specific, we’d have to dig around for quite a bit to find it. Not really efficient. That’s where drawer dividers come in handy! I use these bad boys to divide my utensils into neat little sections. No more rummaging around!

5. Organiser Racks

Do you find that your cupboards are a chaotic mess of pots and pans? I love using organiser racks to tidy up those messy cupboards and make it easier to find the pans I need to use when I need to use them. You can also use organsier racks for plates when you’re struggling to find the space to stack them away. Check out these popular organiser racks on Amazon below!

6. Microwave Shelves

Is your microwave taking up too much space? These are a perfect solution. I used one of these when living in Hong Kong where the kitchen was only big enough for one person at a time. So you can guess how much counter space I had at the time and understand what a lifesaver a microwave shelf was. If you have other appliances that you would like to have out, or simply just need more room for other things, this is a great addition to your kitchen!
